We have added a project to the projects section of our website that we carried out in 2013, with the aim of looking back and analyzing what was pioneering 13 years ago and how industrialized construction has evolved since then. but above all, emphasizing that today’s innovation will be a reflection of our work, together with committed architects and companies and corporate firms that want to improve well-being and environmental quality in the cities and spaces where they operate.
Pioneer in sustainability and energy efficiency
The Olivia Balmes Hotel (4*s) was the first 4* hotel in Barcelona with an A energy rating. A modern, urban hotel designed by architects Álex Ibáñez and Sara Galmán, with interior design by GCA Architects.
A hotel committed to sustainability, designed to respond to the needs of its guests and the citizens of Barcelona for more than 13 years, contributing to a lower carbon footprint with the design of its facilities and in its daily activities, using energy supplied by solar panels, eco-friendly amenities, and biodegradable single-use packaging.
A pioneering hotel facility with 128 rooms and several halls with ample capacity for events and celebrations, designed to have the least possible impact on the environment, with active and passive energy-saving systems, under the supervision of the architectural and engineering firm AJ Ingeniería, Climava, Axioma in acoustics, and Talleres Inox, in the design and manufacture of the enclosures and envelopes.
Close teamwork earned the hotel a “Special mention for the best sustainable urban hotel” in the Rethink Hotel competition. In addition to its A rating, which is more common today, 13 years ago it was the first in the city of Barcelona to achieve this.

Our fully customized industrialized façade panel [ACOUSTIC FAÇADE SYSTEM] allows for the manufacture of complete façade panels finished at the factory, with windows and glass installed, achieving complete control over the quality of the finishes. In this case, with integrated SCHÜCO joinery.
Coverings and interior design
Decoration and metalwork in ground floors and restaurant by Talleres Inox.
In addition to the main façade, we developed the design and manufacture of metal cladding for the common areas on the ground floor and in the restaurant, with the finishes and aesthetics required by the architectural and interior design project.
Fully customized industrial metal solutions for both exterior and interior use, maintaining complete unity and aesthetic and structural harmony.
