World Architecture Festival Awards (WAF) 2025
From Talleres Inox we would like to congratulate the entire Batlleiroig team on their recent award at the prestigious World Architecture Festival Awards (WAF) 2025. One of the most recognized architecture competitions internationally.
The WAF is the only global festival where all finalists present their projects live to a jury of over 140 international experts. This year’s edition was held last week at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The T3 Diagonal Mar offices by Batlleiroig studio have been awarded a prize in this prestigious competition in the “Completed Buildings – Offices” category. We are proud to have worked alongside this outstanding team of architects and in collaboration with TECNICS G3 on the development of these innovative offices, located in Barcelona.
T3, the first office building in Europe to be part of the Timber, Transit, Technology family.
“The T3 Diagonal Mar office building, developed by Hines, features an all-wood structure, taking its commitment to reducing CO₂ emissions a step further. Its wooden façade incorporates a charred finish that enhances durability and reduces maintenance. Furthermore, the curtain wall with wooden mullions eliminates the use of aluminum in the window and door frames, reinforcing the overall sustainability. This project unites design and environmental responsibility, establishing itself as a benchmark for reducing the carbon footprint in construction.”

A new office design concept is based on three fundamental pillars: the warmth and sustainability of wood, location in an emerging area well connected to the city, and cutting-edge technology. This project has been taken as an opportunity to rethink standard construction solutions and apply materials and systems that reduce the carbon footprint.
A building that masterfully combines our two industrialized construction systems, designed by Batlleiroig: the [INOX TIMBER CURTAIN WALL] curtain wall and the [FACADE ACOUSTIC PANEL] prefabricated panels.
