Climate-efficient cities
As part of the European Green Deal, the European Commission has set an example for development by identifying 100 European cities that must be climate neutral by 2030.
Barcelona was one of the hundred candidates, and the facades of buildings play a key role.
The aim of these 100 cities is to be centers of experimentation and innovation.
New buildings and comprehensive renovations are being carried out using European funds, incentivized by local councils and institutions.
Residential buildings, hotels, public facilities, shops, and office buildings that reflect the new responsible and efficient construction that we must plan in order to preserve our environment and the well-being of future generations.
The façade
A good example of our work is the iconic office building at 185 Numancia Street.
This is a large block exposed to high levels of solar radiation, which we have renovated with a new curtain wall façade using technical glass with high solar protection values.
In this project, we installed a total of 4,000 m² of high-performance glass facade, ensuring efficiency, comfort, and quality throughout the entire building envelope.
